In this paper, researchers use a probabilistic approach (i.e Gamma Distribution) in order to decipher the Covid-19 transmission based on the stage of the disease (asymptomatic,pre-symptomatic or symptomatic). The variation of the probability of transmission of the virus was incorporated intending to conclude on the efficacy of the vaccine. Concerning the vaccine allocation, the strategy of the vaccination campaign relying on vaccinating first healthcare workers, adults with comorbidities and individuals aged 65 and older, seems to have been beneficial as the attack rate was significantly reduced by 50% in the aforementioned groups.
