#UnInclusive A project to analyze the challenges university students with disabilities face in their daily life in terms of university facilities and accomodations.
A project is where you put forth your ideas for a specific area or scope. Collaborators make proposals to reach the goal of the project.
You can start debates, run a blog and conduct a survey. You can also set periodical meetings to make decisions about the project. You can start debates, run a blog and conduct a survey. You can also set periodical meetings to make decisions about the project. Some of these meetings are private and some are open. If they are open, it is possible to participate in them (for example: attending if the capacity allows it, adding points to the agenda, or commenting on the proposals and decisions taken).
Examples: A project for the betterment of urban drinking water, a project to reduce plastic use, etc.
Infrastructure, if designed and implemented correctly, can empower people with disabilities to be part of societal and economic development. Much of the world’s infrastructure is not designed in an inclusive way, creating unnecessary barriers for people with disabilities.
We would like to explore what are the barriers in terms of infrastructure that hinder educational careers of university students with disabilities. Working into a more inclusive infrastructure for persons with disabilities, we can build up projects which can enhance academic accessibility which therefore will help to reduce the inequality gap and promote shared prosperity in a nation.
We are the group of 4 students of UNIGE in charge of the project;
Among specific tasks that are devoted to each of us are: interviews, literature review, researches
