GTI-Infrastructure Disability
#UnInclusive A project to analyze the challenges university students with disabilities face in their daily life in terms of university facilities and accomodations.
Infrastructure, if designed and implemented correctly, can empower people with disabilities to be part of societal and economic development. Much of the world’s infrastructure is not designed in an inclusive way, creating unnecessary barriers for people with disabilities.
We would like to explore what are the barriers in terms of infrastructure that hinder educational careers of university students with disabilities. Working into a more inclusive infrastructure for persons with disabilities, we can build up projects which can enhance academic accessibility which therefore will help to reduce the inequality gap and promote shared prosperity in a nation.
