Accessibility
Following the parent digital platform for citizen participation decidim, decidim4cs is committed to creating a website that has a universal design and accessible content, without visual or technological obstacles and for the largest possible number of users, thus bringing the use of new technologies to citizens.
To meet this objective, the WAI standard regulation (WAI Accessibility Initiative) adopted by the European Union applies. The purpose is for this platform to comply with the AA level accessibility guidelines defined by the WAI standard (WCAG 2.0).
This means that both a person with some type of disability, as well as any other person who is in a circumstance that makes it difficult to access the information on the website, can access the content successfully.
The evolution of new information technologies, both in web format and in multi-device format, allows the content offered through the internet channel to be increasingly accessible. decidim4cs, in line with the commitment acquired with accessibility, has considered that the disclosure of information on web and multi-device accessibility is an important service for those users who need a guide to access their services without difficulties.
