What is decidim4CS?
It is a digital platform for participatory citizen science. It allows citizen scientists to propose ideas, comment and vote on them. It constitutes the deliberation technology used for the Crowd4SDG project that aims to use citizen science to track progress towards sustainable development goals.
decidim4CS is based on decidim, a free open-source software originally created by the Barcelona City Hall as a participatory democracy platform for cities and organizations.
How can I participate to a citizen science project?
Please send an email to the admin providing the following information:
- Your name: This will be your public name that appears on your posts;
- Brief description about your interest in the platform;

Your email: Optional. Write this if you want to be registered with a different email than the one you send this information from.
The admin will register you on decidim4CS, and you will receive a notification. Then, you can either collaborate in an existing project by making proposals, participating or initiating debates, etc. If you want to create a new project, check below how to do it.
Can I create a new project?
Yes. To do that please send an email to the admin, writing your name and username in decidim4CS, project's title, area and scope. Your project will be created for you.
Is there a tutorial?
